This with the previously buffed summon spirits could bring communing defenses out of the depths of suck. I know that my little blue turrets can now take a huge beating before going down(about on par with minions, new HP and armor buff, -50% damage and immunity to crits, bring it) but dos it work on the effects of the deffensive communing spirits? Like when shelter, displacement wanderlust, earth bind or union lose health, will it work on them or is the health calculated as "health loss" instead of damage, or how does the mechanic work?

I was reading the discussion page about it on wiki,the guys who tested it apparantly say it does effect it. There's no reason it shouldn't either, because the spirits effectively take damage.

They may have been losing health rather than taking damage. Theres a difference.

50% damage reduction for spirits, plus the new fast casting and Signet of Spirits.

I love the new update, it's just a shame the zkeys haven't came yet, I can't afford a single skill.


50% damage reduction almost made me cry. I thought it was another late April Fool's update. Taking control of another persons' spirit is purely amazing. Then there's summoning 3 high lvl spirits at the same time? I think this is one of my favorite skill updates ANet has ever done.
